Japanese Musical Group AKB48 will be Official Guests of Honor
at Anime Expo 2010

Anaheim, CA – April 27, 2010 – Anime Expo® is pleased to announce today that Japanese musical supergroup, AKB48, will be official Guests of Honor at its July convention. Anime Expo, the United States’ largest anime and manga convention, is scheduled for July 1 – 4, 2010, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. AKB48 will perform live in Nokia Theater on Thursday, July 1, 2010, at 4:30 p.m. The members will also participate in attendee panels, meet-and-greets and autograph sessions.

Anime Expo is located in Los Angeles and is the nation’s largest anime and manga convention. The Expo serves to foster trade, commerce and the interests of the general public and animation industry.
